Valley View Lutheran Church will offer a presentation that provides information that families and friends will want to know as they care for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease. The event entitled: “It’s Alzheimer’s” – It’s Time for Extraordinary Love, will be held at the church on Tuesday, October 4th, 2016. The presentation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Buffet dinner will be available starting at 5:30 p.m.
Pastor Curt Seefeldt, Director of Church Relations for The Lutheran Home Association will facilitate discussion on Alzheimer’s diagnoses, treatment options, answers to spiritual questions and family care. Participants will leave with a better understanding of how to provide emotional and spiritual support to all who are affected by the disease. Everyone is invited to attend. There is no charge for the event, but there will be a free will opportunity.

- A starting point for understanding Alzheimer's diagnosis and treatment
- Ideas for caregiving that are spriritually and emotionally uplifting
- Answers to questions about God's goodness
