For Adults
  • Counseling - Bible-based, private, and no fee charged.  What's on your mind?  Contact Pastor.
  • Choir - We meet weekly for a couple months at a time. Often meeting times are before church or Wednesdays at 5:30 pm for 6-8 weeks before Christmas and Easter.
  • Weekly Bible Studies  -We have an adult class every Sunday at 11:30 am, and also during the week as advertized.
  • Bible Information Class - This is the name we give a special class for anyone interested in learning more about what the Bible says.  We open up the Bible and dig in and discuss key doctrines. Contact Pastor.
  • Marriage Retreat and Marriage Bible Studies -  We are reminded how special marriage is in the eyes of the Creator of marriage - God. Periodically, call for information.
  • Men's Retreat -We rent a Cabin in the wilds of Montana and have Bible-study, eat, and recreate. Near Dillon.  June 1-2, 2018

  • Supporting WELS missionaries through Lutheran Women's Missionary Society (LWMS)(www.lwms.org) - Women (and men) can learn about, participate in, and support National WELS activities that support Missionary activities around the United States and throughtout the World (wels.net/missions).
  • Planning food and refreshments for church events and potlucks
  • Planning special women's events and Bible Studies
  • Supporting Youth activities and Sunday School  like Christmas for Kids and the Easter Egg Hunt
  • Doing local Service Projects

Special Events - Past

  • Reformation 500.  Martin Luther Movie Screening at the Cinemark, October 16, 2017, 6:30 pm, Return to Grace: Luther’s Life and Legacy. Valley View hosted a WELS film (through Tugg).  This entertaining new film brings together dramatic moments that shaped Luther, and examines the universal questions he wrestled with, like “Who am I?” and “What is my purpose?”   This movie is also available to see offline.  Contact Pastor Gary Bode to ask questions or learn more about the Lutheran church,
  • It’s Alzheimer’s - A Time for Extraordinary Love.- October 4, 2016 - Pastor Curt Seefeldt, Director of Church Relations for the Lutheran Home Association, was a guest at Valley View discussing the challenges and issues of Alzheimer's and aging.
  • Branches Band - This small Christian band was with us for a concert on October 2nd, 2015.  They are a husband and wife duo, Andy and Rachel Braun.  They travel the country fulltime assisting in worship and giving concerts.  They were an inspiration to us all as they shared God's Word in music!  To learn more about them go to www.branchesband.com.
